Oxandrolone is an androgen and anabolic steroid (AAS) that is prescribed to treat osteoporosis-related bone pain, aid in the development of Turner syndrome-affected girls, support recovery from severe burns, counteract protein catabolism caused by long-term corticosteroid therapy, and for other purposes. It is especially beneficial for use in women because of its potent anabolic effects and negligible androgenic effects, which offer it a benign side effect profile.
Side effects:
Possible side effects include greasy skin, hair loss, acne, changes in skin color, nausea, vomiting, migraines, and changes in sexual interest. Oxandrolone use in women can cause virilization, the unreversible development of masculine traits such hirsutism, irregular menstruation, male-pattern hair loss, and clitoral enlargement.
Dosage:
Various individuals have diverse responses to anabolic steroids. Adults should take between two and four doses of 2,5 mg to 20 mg per day. It is possible to use as little as 2,5 mg or as much as 20 mg each day to produce the desired effect. Typically, a 2- to 4-week therapy period is sufficient. This can be carried out periodically or as needed.
